I have been seeking a country and a language where the past is more important than the present. I walked alone, my mind awash with the forlorn words and the noble sights of history.
This present time is unhallowed, devoid of greatness and unworthy of deep reflection. I do not belong here. I do not live here.
Then how do you live ?
Why do you live?
I am the past. I live with living ghosts.

I am seeking a country which values the past more than life. I am an orphan of my country; its moeurs and spirit are gone never to return. I seek eloquence, dignity, antiquity and greatness wrapped in the Christian faith.
Where shall I go?
